Question 1
Improvise a "speech" (like a tour guide) on a random object selected from interviewer's desk.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brightspark Travel (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
I submitted application online platform. Was contacted right away from recruiter.
Had a nice 30 min chat with recruiter who said they would like to move me to the next round of meeting with a Manager. They would contact them and have them contact me directly. Was contacted quickly with a few available time slots to come in and meet.
Met in person with a Manager for an hour with a very free flowing conversation with some boiler plate questions but overall just getting to know each other. He said he wanted the staff/coworkers to meet with me to describe the job and answer any questions. Met with the two coworkers and again free flowing very positive conversations with everyone seemingly enjoying the interaction.
Manager came back in to cut off the interview to say he would get back to me shortly and had a few others to speak with first. Seemed odd at the end, as initial interview was very personable but was a bit short at the end with no offer to pay for the $16 parking lot fee, any exact info other than we will get back to you.
NEVER heard from them ever again either recruiter nor manager and its been 3 weeks. Very disappointed at unprofessional behavior as some sort of response should be expected even a short text or email, and they should have to pay for your parking to drive in L.A. traffic to meet face to face and pay $16 parking lot fee in the buildings own personal lot. They claim to be all about customer service and feedback and client interaction but treat would be employees with no respect to send a simple email of decline.
