Interview
I did have to apply 1st at the Broward County HR site, then a later on I received a date & location to take a test for the position. I went there, and the room wasn't full, but enough people were there. 8 sections, all consisting of completing as much as you can in 5 min. each. After a while, the proctor asked for them, and then gave us a sheet to fill out, which had to do with benefits and locations chosen that you want to work at. then she said good-bye and left. We were all stunned, but left. I passed, and had an interview, which was basic, and nothing specific. I then had to go downtown, and swear an oath of loyalty to defend the Constitution, and protect this country, from all domestic and foreign terror (I'm not making this up - it was McCarthyism!) Then it proceeded from there.
Straight forward. Very long wait process for the application to the interview and the offer... Maybe like a 3 month wait or more depending on negotiation and start date. Some people might not be able to wait that long.
