I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CBRE
Interview
Two stage process. Tech Interview and then a HR round. The Technical round was all about finance. The standard project finance and excel questions. Easy if you have a decent grip of the domain.
The selection process of CBRE for this particular role was very complex. They usually have 4-5 rounds and it comprises of aptitude test, group discussion and several interview rounds.
Aptitude test is generally time based and comprises of basic arithmetic and English grammar questions.
Group Discussion can be on any recent topics or it can be any topic they feel like. There is absolutely no clue on what basis they select the candidates. There are possible biasness by the evaluator.
HR Interview: They wont specifically disclose which interview they will take first and how many they will take. HR interview consists of very basic questions mainly to understand the candidate's background. It is considered to be a elimination round.
Technical Interview: Technical rounds can be 2 or more. Generally question are from finance and real estate.
P.S. There is no particular patter that they follow in their selection process. It totally depends on the selection team. It can be anything.
