I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CNN
Interview
The interview was quite simple. The first contact is done by somebody in Human resources that let's you before hand that you are going to receive a phone call from your targeted supervisor. Then a phone interview is done with simple questions about you, your experience and maybe some questions about the news world.
it was a Hirevue, they asked typical interview questions like introduce yourself, what challenges have you faced, what's your news diet, etc. took only around 15 minutes to complete but I would do significant preparation.
Very thorough and detailed. There were three rounds of interview, and one of them was online. Then it came to in person interview. I struggled with the online because you have to record yourself and answer their questions with time limits.
I was instructed to undergo a virtual interview on Hireview. I have not heard back yet, but they asked basic questions like "tell us about yourself" and "why are you interested in this internship?"
