I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CSX (Jacksonville, FL) in Oct 2011
Interview
On campus interview. Three online tests ( two behavioral, one on basic finance.) They will give you a case study one week before. They do not care so much what you decide, they want to see if you can make a decision and then defend it if necessary. They also want to see if you can present in front of senior management. The VP of Finance was there for mine, which went well until I presented my reasoning for not pursuing the second investment. From what I learned later, I came across as arrogant when I gave the reason. Lesson learned for me. There were also two 1v1 interviews with managers who asked standard interview questions. The company also took us out to dinner the night before where we had the chance to interact with other members of the finance department and eat some good food.

Question 1
Do your best on the case, but do not worry about there being a "right" answer. It is ambiguous on purpose.
