The interview process started with a brief phone screen with HR, followed by a video interview with her the next day. I then met with the hiring manager and a senior director I would have worked closely with. Each conversation felt natural and positive, and I was able to speak directly to experience the team said they were looking for. Communication from HR was friendly and responsive early on, and I was told the final step would be to provide two professional references. I also created short, customized digital thank-you cards to express continued interest in the company and role. After that point, communication came to a screeching halt. I followed up twice over the course of two weeks and never received a response. The interviews themselves were positive, but the lack of follow-up or closure after advancing to the reference stage made the overall experience disappointing. Clearer communication at the end of the process would go a long way.
