I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Caffe Luxxe
Interview
Applied via craigslist. Received an email to schedule a phone interview. That went well and was scheduled for a zoom interview the next day. That went well too! The manager said she was going to compare notes with the previous interviewer and then if I passed they schedule a call with one of the owners. The owner called 10 mins later. I was caught off guard and almost didn't pick up the phone. He was really rude and subtly criticized my entire career path. He made it seem like I was a failure in every aspect. I could barely make out what he was bragging about due to a poor connection on his end. He ended the call by saying they would get back to me after he discussed it with the three interviewers. I sent a thank-you note the next day. Followed up a couple of days later and NEVER heard back!! I saw later another ad for their position on craigslist for $15/hour from the previous $18-21. I feel like this was definitely a bait and switch. So glad I dodged that bullet!
Short phone interview followed by a longer in-person interview. Very friendly with lots of time given to answering questions. Received offer very quickly after completing interview and able to start immediately
I applied online. I interviewed at Caffe Luxxe (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Heard back after applying right away. First had a phone interview and the guy was very nice. Did a in person interview next and the first person to interview me was alright, but one of the owners came in next and he was kind of pretentious. We obviously had some personality differences. I had prev coffee shop experience but he seems a bit snobby about this stuff and I got a weird vibe from him. Glad I won't be working here.
