Initially, my first round was scheduled over the weekend, but after three postponements by the HR team. HR should understand that candidates also need to clear their calendars for interviews. The first round was straightforward—three coding questions that I answered well.
The second round was where things got strange. It was scheduled the same day and was with a director-level interviewer. Honestly, he seemed to have zero idea about conducting a technical interview—asking vague questions and then requesting me to explain the design of my one of my project. The moment I started explaining, he interrupted, saying I was “disclosing company technical details,” which completely threw me off. Moments later, he asked why I switch jobs frequently. I explained clearly—my first company shut down, and my second company laid me off due to COVID. Despite that, he labeled me “unstable.” The whole experience felt totally unprofessional.
