      I applied online. I interviewed at Canto Software (Cork) in Nov 2024

      Interview

      Very quick turnaround and straightforward process. There was an initial screening on the phone, followed by a quick initial interview before doing a take home task. Then had a final tech interview reviewing the task, and then the final interview with HR and management. I think the take home task was a great approach, and waiting to do the people interview after the technical interview was passed was also laid out well.

      Knowledge on Spring Boot and its layers (i.e. repo, service, etc.), knowledge of react hooks and general software engineering questions (e.g. when to use a specific log level)
