TL;DR: Not worth the time. The process involved three rounds: an initial HR screening, followed by a Director of Engineering interview, and then a full-stack assessment if you passed the second round. The final stage was a demo of the assignment. Despite meeting all the acceptance criteria, I was ultimately rejected. What’s frustrating is the significant time investment, I spent around six hours on the assessment, delivered a strong demo, and went beyond the requirements. It didn’t seem like my repository was even properly reviewed. Overall, the experience felt like a poor use of time, with little respect for candidates effort, and the compensation didn’t appear competitive either.
