I interviewed for the role of senior growth analyst at Capital On Tap. The process was fairly simple. I first had a profile evaluation interview with HR that lasted for 40-45 minutes. In this first interview, she asked about my work experience and some behavioural questions. She also asked basic SQL questions. I was then shortlisted for the next round with the Director of Data Science (30 minutes). This round was not as structured and clear as I expected it to be. The interviewer asked me vague business problems on how the company should find credible businesses as opportunities, and market sizing questions with no data. They were looking for someone with core marketing analytics or marketing skills.
