I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capula Investment Management in Sept 2021
Interview
I attended a 30 minutes screening with the company via zoom. The interviewer came into the meeting 5-10 minutes late. He did not apologise or explain anything. He did not introduce his name or his role in the company. He started by looking at my CV and quickly threw out a few questions which made clear that my CV was read for the first time. After his random questions on my CV and Python in general I was given a chance to ask questions. I invited him to introduce himself. To my relief, he didn’t refuse to do so and it turned out he was the engineering manager. The interview ended at the scheduled time. Overall I felt the interviewer was unprofessional and to be frank, came across as rude and arrogant. After the interview, I never get any feedback back from the company. Overall it was an interview that I still remember for all the wrong reasons even after a few weeks. From other pieces of information on Glassdoor the company seems nice and the software engineers are well paid. From my personal experience the company management was not so nice and unfortunately I wouldn’t want to or advise anyone to work under someone like the interviewer I encountered.
I applied online. I interviewed at Capula Investment Management (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
They never got back to me after the initial behavioural interview. It was mostly assessing my motivation both for joining the company and also work ethic wise. The interviewer wasn't very friendly.

Smooth interview process via a headhunter. Had a technical video call with developers, followed by an in-depth discussion and a live coding challenge. Fair questions, professional team, and overall a great experience.
