I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Carlisle FoodService in Jul 2021
Interview
Recruiter first and the person you will be reporting to and then the VP. It was difficult to understand the position responsibilities. The interviewers seemed as if they did not know what the responsibilities were or they did not want to say. The company was just purchased by an investment company and it appears they are churning through staff.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Carlisle FoodService (Oklahoma City, OK) in Apr 2018
Interview
I was originally contacted about my resume and we set up an appointment to speak with the VP of HR. Next was a scheduled interview that lasted from 9-3:30. It was very streamlined and enjoyable. You met the team you would be working with by interviewing with different managers in 1 hr blocks. You conducted a tour in one facility and then went to corporate for the afternoon where you spoke with the Hr management team and the VP of Operations. It was a very pleasant experience and the entire team made me feel right at home...very welcoming. If you move on from there you will have to take a behavior assessment, which essentially measures management style/priorities. If you do well on that then you may get an offer. Although they gave me a very generous and acceptable offer, I had to decline because another job brought me closer (by several states) to my daughter. If you are fortunate enough to be offered this position you will love the team! They are incredibly easy to get along with and they have a rock star cast. Seriously, the new VP of HR is incredible, has high energy and is focused on developing her people. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone. I don’t think this team of people would let anyone fail. I feel like you would get the support you needed to be successful!

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Carlisle FoodService (Sparta, WI) in Nov 2017
Interview
Hiring process was pretty standard. I was contacted by a phenomenal recruiter who thought I was a great fit for the job. First interview with HR over the phone went great. Second interview in person with the plant manager went great, lasting for a few hours. Third interview with VP from OKC via phone. I had to reschedule the first time, then he never showed for the rescheduled time. Finally, the third time was a charm and we were able to connect for a short 20 minutes.
I asked during the interview process about relocation assistance and if there is a requirement to live within a certain distance from the plant. I was told there is no requirement to live a certain distance and they would provide relocation assistance. After going through all of the interviews, they were hung up on whether or not I would relocate even though the plant manager thought I was a great fit for the culture and skill set. The other candidate also needed to relocate so they also passed on her. In the end, they were not very upfront about what they were expecting from a relocation standpoint and truly did not want to work with someone for relocation. They were only interested in finding a local candidate.
