I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Chili's Grill and Bar (Ithaca, NY) in May 2013
Interview
Very brief and simple. I walked into the restaurant on a Monday at around 2:30 pm (in between lunch and dinner shifts), and asked to talk to a manager. I asked if they were hiring servers, and he told me to come back in 2 days for an actual interview. The second interview was short and fairly straightforward. It lasted maybe 20 minutes and the manager told me that orientation was in 3 days.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chili's Grill and Bar (Jacksonville, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview seemed to go well. Manager said she would send me a email stating to keep warm. Because she was waiting on servers to go back to school. She said she was so excited to bring me on board since I have previous experience. I called this morning asking about the email and then she didn’t have no recollection of even interviewing me. Don’t tell somebody you’re gonna hire them and then turn around not hire them.

Interview
I met with the manager and she was very professional. The interview process was easy. They asked about prior work, and if this was someplace i could do well in.
I interviewed at Chili's Grill and Bar (Greenville, SC)
Interview
It was very casual, I came in and they asked me about my experience and walked through the position and expectations! It was more on the informal side of things and only lasted around fifteen minutes or so!
