I did not undergo any phone or in-person interviews. All communication for my application was conducted through email. I completed a writing and editing test online, which I passed. I received a job offer shortly thereafter. I later discovered some applicants to this position had up to three rounds of interview in addition to the test. It's unclear why HR skipped a phone or in-person interview with me.

Very straightforward! It's good to know current events and it takes about a week or two between second interview and offer letter. Both first and second Interview are done remotely (during pandemic times)

I applied online. I took an extensive writing-editing test. I had never taken such a complicated test for a past media organisation. I was told that we couldn't meet in the building because of security concerns.
