I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Citrine Informatics in Nov 2023
Interview
Communication throughout was flaky and often missed their promised timelines. Process dragged on for 2+ months, consisting of: phone screen, sales+basic coding challenge (pitch deck and Python data science notebook), technical interview round, final behavioral interview round.
After final round, received automated boilerplate rejection email with no feedback.

Question 1
How would you persuade a skeptic to apply a ML model in their scientific workflow?
Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry to hear you didn't receive an appropriate amount of feedback given your stage in our process. We'll take this back to the team so that we can improve the candidate experience moving forward.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citrine Informatics (Redwood City, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
The process started with a phone screen going over my resume and general experience. There was a take-home data challenge afterwards, which was not too difficult. The final on-site interview was a full day event with 6 hours of interviews with all different people we would work with, including the CEO and COO. The questions were not very technically challenging but was a very lengthy process.

Question 1
How would you improve the model to the challenge if you had more time?
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Citrine Informatics (Spring, TX) in Jan 2021
Interview
Recruiter was great and communicative. However, after spending a week of hard work on the take home project, I received a rejection with no additional feedback. The least companies should be able to do is provide feedback when asking applicants to put in this amount of work.
