Overall, disappointing and extremely unprofessional!
Started off with a HR call to make make sure it was the right fit for both of us...
Followed by a Technical screening from the Hiring Manager.
Next, I was invited onsite where I was scheduled to meet a couple folks. The conversations went well according to me.
The way I got conveyed was they already had an offer sent out to someone for that position right before they even started talking to me in the first place and they were just doing a window shopping by inviting me onsite!
I feel like a company which holds job candidates in such poor regards probably doesn't treat their employees too well.
It's a shame that they failed to even respond back to my post-interview thank you and follow up email with any sort of communication.
Note to HR - it'd be a good gesture to respond back to follow up emails with some communication. Be it rejection or next steps.
My time is just as important as yours and a simple courtesy would be much appreciated.
FYI to future candidates - Make sure they are not doing any window shopping and think smart before investing time.
I wish good luck with the new brand naming after being sold from Thompson Reuters.
