I was connected with a really nice recruiter who did the phone screening and was really able to determine role fit and alignment. The hiring manager interview was average, and I was excited for the role- mostly due to the honesty of the HM around culture. However the recruiter got back to me and said for my location tier, I would be at a much lower salary than advertised and I decided to end the process there.
