I had an initial phone interview to assess my English level and go over some basic questions. Then, I had an online interview with the head of the department in Vila Nova de Gaia. After that, I was asked to complete a NIS2 challenge, which I later had to present and defend in front of her and a colleague from Germany.
I had a very positive and easy interview experience. The process was smooth and well-organized, making me feel comfortable and confident. The interviewer was friendly and approachable, asking clear and relevant questions. I appreciated how promptly they communicated and provided information at each step. Overall, it was a stress-free experience that left me excited about the opportunity.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cocus (London, England) in Jun 2024
Interview
The selection process was organized and thorough, with a balanced mix of questions about past experiences and hypothetical scenarios. While it’s clear the aim was to explore how candidates handle day-to-day challenges, a few of the hypothetical situations were… surprisingly imaginative. Let's just say, if I ever find myself defusing a metaphorical bomb while coordinating a team meeting on a sinking ship, I’ll be prepared.
Still, it was an engaging experience — definitely not your typical interview.
