Codecademy Fullstack Software Engineer interview questions

I didn't make it past the coding challenge, which was intense. I was told I had a week to complete it, and then after four days the recruiter reached out to "check in." Which felt like maybe there weren't a lot of applicants, but I had only been working on it after work, etc., so I hadn't spent a lot of time on it yet... if they needed it in four days, I would have taken a day off to complete it. If they didn't need it in four days, why were they putting pressure on me?
