Had two interviews and was completely ghosted. Zero follow up. Refused to answer calls.
Common courtesy would be to say “thanks for your time, we’re going in another direction”.
2nd interview felt like it went well, had a good rapport with potential direct report, and then nothing.
Didn’t answer 3 emails.

Question 1
Question about SQL experience as well as Python and R.
Was approached by a recruiter for a position. Position seemed to be a nearly 100% match to my experience-- a bit below my desired salary, but a bit above my current one. After a very brief recruiter interview, I was invited to take a personality assessment quiz. This is one of those two-question quizzes asking you to select words out of a list of about 100. About as scientific as a horoscope. After taking the quiz, I was informed that Collectiv was no longer interested in talking to me. As a data guy, this is pretty insulting. They might as well be hiring with a Ouija board.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Collectiv (IL) in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process began with a 30-minute initial interview focused on getting to know me and providing an overview of the job responsibilities. This was followed by a 30-minute second interview, which included scenario-based questions, some technical questions, and a role-play exercise. The role-play involved handling a hypothetical client scenario, though the details provided were somewhat vague, making it challenging to fully address key discussion points. Surprisingly, the technical questions focused more on basic Power BI concepts rather than advanced DAX functions. Overall, the interview process was straightforward, with a moderate level of difficulty.
