I went through six rounds of interviews over the course of several weeks. To be honest, 6 is excessive for what I considered an Entry Level role. Most interviews were with thoughtful and engaged team members, and I appreciated learning more about the role and the company.
However, the process felt increasingly drawn out and disorganized by the end. One interview with the VP was rescheduled last minute, which I accommodated using personal PTO to remain flexible. While I understand schedules change, this added to an already demanding timeline.
The final stakeholder interview was the most discouraging part. The interviewer clearly had not reviewed my resume, said she trusted her team’s judgment, and ended the conversation in under ten minutes. After so much time, effort, and coordination on my part, the meeting felt rushed and dismissive. It left me questioning how seriously the company valued candidates’ time.
