CommScope Senior Software Engineer interview questions

The hiring manager called me, had a quick discussion about my background, and then explained the role at a very high level. She then scheduled video interview (because of COVID, no doubt). This video interview was a sequence of talking to a couple of senior engineers and another manager, one at a time. They each asked me some basic questions, one of the junior engineers gave me a very easy coding test where I shared my screen and did trivial problems in an online compiler. The interviewers were friendly and answered my questions, but didn't really delve much into my expertise. Then HR called me at the end of the process and asked my base salary and told me they wouldn't hire any engineer into the organization at my current pay level, and that the "Senior Engineering" role was a less than 100k job, so it felt like a bit of a waste of time at the end. That said, everyone was friendly and I got the feeling that folks enjoyed their work environment.

Attended couple of rounds of interview and after that no feedback from hr and even he is not responding,I dont think this is fair as we are spending time to take Interview that to face to face,they should give the feedback what ever it is.
