      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CommandLink (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2025

      Interview

Exceptionally Honest, Straightforward, and Refreshingly Human Interview Process I recently went through the interview process at CommandLink, and it was hands-down one of the most honest and straightforward hiring experiences I’ve ever had. From the first conversation to the final offer, everything was exactly as described with zero surprises, no hidden steps, no last-minute hoops to jump through. Just real conversations with real people who clearly respect a candidate’s time and transparency. My hiring manager was incredibly honest from day one. At one point, I had another job offer on the table and initially told her no. She didn’t pressure me — she simply explained why she believed CommandLink was the right fit and how my skill set aligned perfectly with what the company needed. Her conviction wasn’t salesmanship; it was clarity. And she was right — turning that “no” into a yes was the best decision I’ve made. Another standout element was the onboarding process. Instead of being dropped into a massive group training where people inevitably get left behind, CommandLink took a cohesive, one-on-one approach. I actually felt seen, supported, and set up for success. It’s rare to find a company that invests so intentionally in making sure new hires truly understand the role and the platform. I also really respected that there were no surprise travel requirements, no in-person assessments out of nowhere, and no bait-and-switch tactics with compensation. What we discussed during the interviews is exactly what showed up in the offer letter. And when I asked questions about salary and OTE, I was given direct answers - none of that “we don’t discuss that at this stage” nonsense that many companies, unfortunately, still pull. In short, CommandLink brings back an old-school interview process in the best possible way: transparent, respectful, structured, and genuinely human. If you’re considering a role here, you should know that they stand behind their process, they honor what they tell you, and they treat candidates the way every company should.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me to walk through real examples of how I build relationships and manage communication with customers and internal teams. It wasn’t a trick question; they genuinely wanted to understand how I operate day-to-day and whether my approach aligned with their culture.
