EXTREMELY Long process, even made me fill out a manual application, reach out to references, spend over half a (business) day there to make sure I like it, HR/Operations made me give a "man's word" that I would not be offended by the offer... etc. Finally was interviewed at the VERY end on the phone by someone who I basically had to chase down in order to talk to (very weird individual for sure) anyway, this person decided to make all sort of strange noises on the phone, "just to see how I would react", including phone ringing sounds, wrapping paper, coughs, etc. CIH says they are trying to position the company as a fintech but it doesn't get more old school than everything I mentioned that I experienced. Also, both the job posting and one I'd be reporting to emphasized several times that they were looking for someone who "was not a trader previously" and to "bring a fresh set of eyes/approach". Guess what, they ended up hiring someone with a trading background instead. Complete waste of time. They said they would contact me back in Spring but I should have know by now when men are not gentlemen.
