Very Easy. Guaranteed a job unless interview goes appallingly. Do not need prior experience in catering.
1. initial application form.
2. invite to interview day - where you fill in another application form/ bank details etc; have a 1:1 interview with a manager or member of experienced staff; training afternoon.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing - all pretty standard.
What makes good customer service? What skills do you have that make you applicable for the role etc...
fast interview process over he phone after filling out a form and application. Phone call and questions about experience and people skills, availability and how often to pick up shift work
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Compass Group (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2015
Interview
Multiple interviewers stationed at tables. Queued up and were called when there was one free, much like a checkout line at a store. Few questions were asked but they didn't really care about experience unless we were barista trained. Practically giving away jobs as long as you could legally work.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Compass Group
Interview
Very straightforward, I was asked about my personal skills and my availability- and that was it really, Didn't have much to read or sign, somewhat unprofessional to be honest. I was asked to provide my passport details and fill out a form for a CRB but not much was done beyond that.

Question 1
My ability to cook, considering I was told I would not be doing much in the kitchen this was surprising.
