      Interview

      This was a Contract-to-Hire position through another staffing agency. The interview consisted of an initial phone screen, followed by a Skype interview. Interviewers were the project lead and the project manager. For a Systems Administrator position, the requirements were very basic: Technical Skills: - Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, 2000/XP Embedded - Understanding LAN/WAN topologies, TCP/IP - SQL Server 2005 & higher - Server hardware – troubleshooting & assembly, HP Proliant, iLO, BIOS/Firmware, SNMP services. Soft Skills: - Time management skills – must be self-motivated and able to multitask. - Understanding processes and importance of standard operating procedures - Consistently take ownership over issues; take lead, manage, diffuse and resolve - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Nice Have’s: - Certifications; A+ (hardware), MCP/MCSE, CCNA, Network+, DBA, other. - Knowledge of Bachmann, PLC, NTRON & Hirschmann (HiDiscovery/HiVision) - Post-Secondary (college/university) degree - Multilingual (Portugese, French or German) - Previous experience in SCADA/Industrial Controls, renewable energy environments is an asset

      There were 3 rounds 1) Technical 2) VNA 3) HR Technical round is a cake walk, I guess the Interviewer was not ready with his Question VNA would not be Difficlut if that had been the case then most of current folks including some of the Managers would not have been hired HR : Salary Discussion would happen and why you want to leave your current job
