I applied through a Hiring company. So I received an email to set-up an on-site interview.
The on-site interview was really cool. Two Software Engineers interviewed me and showed me the office and their plans for expansion.
Then, I was invited to enter into a meeting room and we talked about my previous experience, the company and what the engineers do there.
They asked me general things about iOS Development and behavioral questions. The guys were really friendly and helpful and I felt comfortable during the interview.
So, they asked me to solve two problems on the whiteboard.
Two days after the interview, I received an email from the Recruiting Coordinator saying thanks for my application but that they would not follow the recruitment process, what it's okay.
When I asked for a feedback I was answered with the following words:
"Thank you for your email and asking for feedback. Unfortunately, you just weren't a fit for what we're looking right now - and we wouldn't be able to disclose anything else other than that. I apologize I cannot help you further, but I'm wishing you the best in your future endeavours!"
Maybe were my English skills, may was how I answered the questions and I really understand. But when a company has no transparency on its recruitment process and also doesn't have the ability to give the candidates a feedback, something is really wrong.
Now I'm really happy to haven't received a job offer.
