I applied in-person. I interviewed at CoreWeave (London, England) in May 2024
Interview
1st stage interview with HR and then technical interview. Didn't get past 1st stage as they were more focused on Kubernetes experience.
This also began with the initial screening and was reached out to after a few weeks
- Online Assessment: Initial technical screening to evaluate core cloud and DevOps skills.
- Hiring Manager Interview (1 Hour): A deep-dive discussion covering your experience, role expectations, and team alignment.
- Technical Interview with a Team Member (1 Hour): Hands-on problem-solving and scenario-based questions to assess your technical proficiency and collaboration style.
- Leadership Conversation (30 Minutes): Final discussion focused on cultural fit, strategic alignment, and long-term vision.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you troubleshoot a failed EC2 instance or a misconfigured IAM policy?
Typical American-style cut throat interview in 2 stages. Rudimentary english making questions & communication unclear. Vain obscure interviewer. Cold interaction in both stages, the first particularly frigid. The interview: the face of the company is not pleasant.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Irrelevant to tech & obscure questions like: who are our main competitors (when no one heard of them in uk & cagey about how they work) and 'mathematical computation' (unnecessary).
