- Networked with a person in a different department - they needed someone and had my connection just passed on my resume - went for the interview with full market reports of the sector they are covering, read their equity reports (my connection emailed me), pitched a stock that they cover and discussed on my valuation metrics, talked about sectors, discussed my stock picking strategies - i worked on equity research before in a foreign country so I presented my research reports and analysis. - Experience was overall okay but I guess they found out someone with equity research experience in Toronto.
