Interview
I'm surprised at how completely unprofessional this company is, and I can only imagine how toxic their own work culture must be when they treat potential candidates like this from the very start. I applied for the position and passed their initial check AND assessment stage. I was offered an interview, only to be cancelled without warning a week prior. Apparently "all positions were already filled". And the recruitment manager overseeing my application was incredibly passive-aggressive when I asked what this would mean for me since I had come this far in the application process, and completed every task I was requested. My question is, why on Earth would you not interview all applicants first and then judge which candidates to take on and which not. As is the norm in literally every other workplace!?? I don't know who Costello thinks they are to break the rules. The recruitment teams' literal job is to make sure this does not happen, and that they are interviewing the right amount of people, not trashing applications when they see fit. Is senior management even aware that this is what's going on behind the scenes? If I knew this would be a complete waste of my time I would have never bothered. never applied, and never subjected myself to the anxiety this experience has brought upon me. We're in a cost-of-living crisis, you never know how much a job opportunity can mean to a person or their family, especially when the job market is in the terrible state it already is. Shame on you. I won't be applying again. Please review your recruitment process instead of posting vacancies every other day, and not archiving them in time. Or hire better recruitment staff who actually know how to do their job and not cover their tracks after.

Interview
A smooth interview process. Everyone was really lovely and put me at ease.
There are two interviews - one over the phone with a member of the talent acquisition team followed by an in-person or virtual interview with members of the department if you get through.
Both included a mixture of competency- and behavioural-based questions. As well as an opportunity for you to ask any questions.
My second interview was split into two - the first with two employees, and the second with just one both lasting around 45 mins.
The questions weren't too hard but make sure you prepare a couple scenarios demonstrating your skills - would recommend the classic STAR technique :)
