I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Coyote Logistics (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2022
Interview
First spoke with a recruiter where we went over my resume, the role, why I am looking for a new opportunity, the usual stuff.
After this, a 30 minute call was scheduled with one of the managers at the company. Went over my resume. Then I was asked to describe in depth a project I worked on, such as the components and what tech I used.
The final round consisted of talking with 3 people from the company, which was a mix of managers and leads, each portion spanning 30-45 minutes. First portion was a more general conversation about my experience, as well as a few basic technical questions. The next portion was a coding challenge where I used an IDE of my choice and shared my screen. The question wasn't too difficult, and the interviewer was helpful and very nice. The important part is to talk through your thought process. The final portion involved looking through some code and explaining how it can be improved/what is wrong with it. Also had some questions involving linked lists that I was expected to write out some pseudocode for. Also asked about OOP.
2 days after this round, I was contacted with an offer, but ultimately declined due to better opportunities presenting themselves.
