      Internal Tools Software Developer Interview

      8 Jun 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Vancouver, BC
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CrowdStrike (Vancouver, BC) in May 2021

      Interview

Super odd - recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, had an HR call and then interview with hiring manager. We discussed my job experiences, dove into some projects a bit, some scoping questions about high level security knowledge. It was a positive experience and the manager was intelligent and empathetic. At the end of the call they said I'd hear from HR about next steps, then I was just ghosted entirely. I don't know if I didn't really communicate enough of an interest, since I already had another offer lined up but yeah, bit odd to have been ghosted even though it was indicated that next steps would be happening.
