I had a call with a recruiter that was short and sweet. My second interview with the hiring manager was via Zoom. The hiring manager seemed a bit disorganized, and took another call while we were on the line which was a bit off-putting. This person didn't seem that genuinely interested in my experience or how it would transfer to the role. She mostly talked about what she was looking for and didn't ask me a lot of questions. I tried to sell myself and my skillset and thought the conversation went well. She said she enjoyed meeting me and would like to continue the conversation, then had to leave the call rather abruptly for another meeting. I followed up with both the hiring manager and the recruiter and neither one of them responded to me. I got some auto-generated rejection email about 10 days later, saying they had gone with another candidate, yet the same position was reposted on the job boards later that week.
