Interview process consisted of an initial recruiter screen followed by a panel interview with two QA team members. The QA manager was professional, respectful, and asked thoughtful questions throughout the discussion. Unfortunately, my experience with the panel interview was mixed. One of the interviewers frequently appeared disengaged and displayed negative body language while I was answering questions, which made the conversation feel less professional and less welcoming than other interviews I've participated in. My biggest concern, however, was the communication after the interview. Following the panel round, I did not receive any update or follow-up from the recruiter regarding the outcome of the process. Even a brief status update or rejection email would have been appreciated. I understand that companies receive many applicants and that not every candidate will move forward. However, timely communication and a respectful interview experience are important parts of the candidate experience. Overall, the QA manager left a positive impression, but the lack of follow-up communication and inconsistent interview experience made the process disappointing.
