When initially walked into office, was just standing in the middle of people working at their desks because there is no reception area. Was brought into an office where I was interviewed by 3 people (1 on the phone). Was very much like a conversation. I was explained the role and was told of a significant amount of tasks more than what was in the job description.
One the initial phone call, I was quoted a certain salary plus percentage commission. During the interview, I was told that that was a mistake and that I need to come back with a significant amount lower (the first amount was already over $10K below the city average). I later emailed them saying I could not work for lower than I have initially said and never heard from them again.
I was also told that the reason for the lower amount was because my experience was only halfway to another person on the team and "would not be fair to her". I later found out through LinkedIn that this person has 10 months of experience in the industry and I have 11 years.
The entire process left me very upset that my time was wasted like this and hoped I would not get an offer.
