I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Madison, WI) in Oct 2009
Interview
Applied directly on website, must have been big need because next day was called for interview. Showed up for interview but was cancelled because of retail theft, manager was busy. Rescheduled. Typical retail phone interview where you press the buttons on loss prevention etc, then face to face with manager. Interview on sports related questions and customer service orientation.
Easy interview

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Cedar Hill, TX)
Interview
The interview process is very easy. They ask a few scenario questions. Make sure to try to make conversation and not just answer the questions. My interviewer seemed really happy with that.

Interview
After submitting my application online, I got a call about 2-3 days later to set up an interview for the following week. I came in for my interview and found an associate to let them know I was here for an interview, they were super friendly, and directed me where to go. The assistant manager conducted my interview. They ask the usual "textbook" interview questions. Lots of questions about different types of scenarios.
