I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Clearwater, FL)
Interview
Very easy, spoke with two managers, was hired and partially trained on the day of the second interview. Was called by both managers and talked to briefly about who I am and what my sports interests are. Was also asked situational questions as to how I would react in certain circumstances. Very routine.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Bakersfield, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Consisted of two interviews. I initially met with the hard lines manager who was very friendly. Asked me questions about my experience with bicycle maintenance and sports/fitness history as well as my current level of activity (hiking, sports, golfing, running, outdoors etc). He also asked a few questions out of requirement that he admittedly did not care about. I then met with the store manager who mostly just wanted to meet me to approve of the hard lines managers hiring decision and to establish salary.
