I applied online. I interviewed at Daikin (Oostkamp) in Feb 2024
Interview
First there is an HR screening (video call)
Then you get an interview with two hiring managers in person. After this there are some assessment tests and then another final interview with senior level managers. I was invited for an interview with the hiring managers. First comment I get is if Dutch is my mother tongue because she heard a 'slight' accent. Mind you I have lived and studied in this country for my whole life. Not that it should matter. Further into the interview they asked me about my thesis and when I explained the subject of my thesis. They thought it wasn't a very useful thesis and how they didn't see the point of it. I did not ask for their opinion nor do I care as I graduated with distinction. Very unprofessional imo. The hiring managers were very condescending and rude. Daikin HQ in Oostkamp doesn't look like a great place to work especially if you're a person with any other background than caucasian or have a (slight) accent. I did not continue the hiring process. BE WARY
