      Account Executive Interview

      8 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Dandy (NY)

      Interview

The interview process was pretty straight forward, which included a mock discovery/pitch and a final interview with a VP. I was not offered but my guess is because the VP of Sales asked me how I could close my 6.4 million dollar deal quicker and he did not like the answer I gave him, Which was " there is no way that a 6 million dollar deal could have happened any quicker than the 14 months it took in the education vertical." Even if offered I would not have accepted because of the guys attitude/ego.

Very simple and straight forward. 3 or 4 interviews and you get the job. You talk with 3 to 4 people to finally get the the job. you will have to do a presentation but that might change depending on role .

      Account Executive Interview

      Application

      Interview

Very disappointed with how this process ended after my interview for the Account Executive role. I invested significant time preparing and interviewing with multiple people from the BDR team, and when I expressed genuine interest in continuing my growth with the company by being considered for the AE role, I was transparent and proactive about it. After the AE interview, I was told I’d receive an update early next week. I followed up for days after this deadline, and got a response 5 days later. I then was told that he spoke to the team the day before, and was told tehy are putting the process on hold for possibly a couple of weeks, but if I'm still interested he will follow up with. He didn't even tell me this info when he found out the day earlier, and it took multiple emails to get this message. I send him a nice email stating I would still be interested, but received no response. I then checked my email the following Thursday, 6 days later, and got an automatically rejection. Basic communication and respect for candidates’ time shouldn’t be too much to expect. It’s frustrating and unprofessional to put in that level of effort, reach the later stages of the process, and then be met with complete silence.
