great communication with the hr recruiter even when i wasn't given the job. first you get a phone call, then a take home - that takes so much time they really shouldn't ask this of you, and then a 5 hour in person where you do some live coding.
found that there aren't many women on the team which left a bad taste in my mouth. glad they didn't offer me the role after reading the reviews on here and speaking to others. be wary if you apply - expect great interest until they decide you're not a good fit for them. i got no feedback as to why i didn't get the job, but i can put two and two together!

I had a very disappointing experience with Datadog's recruitment process. After making it to the final round for a Solutions role, I later learned that recruiters had contacted former colleagues at my current company to ask for feedback about me. This information made its way back internally, putting my current job at risk. Not only is this highly unprofessional, but it also raises serious confidentiality concerns. I would caution candidates to be aware of this before applying.

Interview
It had 4 phases: HR, HM, Tech Assessment, Panel.
The tech assessment was made with an online platform, and it was really simple.
In the panel I had to talk about a topic where I was good technically and the interviewers acted like customers making questions etc (be really prepared on that). They payed me all the travel expenses since this last one was face-to-face
