I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Datadog (Singapore) in Feb 2021
Interview
Very unfriendly and even the feedback received was really arrogant as well. Just a poor reflection of the company culture/environment. Their sales methodology is very robotic and transactional - just tick those boxes and off you go! Definitely not consultative sales. After the sales challenge, I decided that this is definitely not the kind of environment I want to be part of.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Datadog (Boston, MA) in Aug 2020
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me on Linked In. We had a great phone call, she explained the roll, asked a few questions, and went over salary. She set up a second call with the Sr. Recruiter who asked me similar questions and a few more about my sales experience. He was extremely rushed, spoke a mile a minute, felt like a very rehearsed conversation and didn't feel like he cared to be on the call. Explained the product/tools I would be essentially selling in under 1 minute. The call ended in less than 15 minutes. This is extremely frustrating because candidates spend so much time researching the company, the product, the culture and prepping to interview - yet recruiters like this don't seem to care about that at all. I was so disappointed with the interview experience.
