I applied online. I interviewed at Design Council (London, England)
Interview
First interview with HR and current post holder and then second interview with hiring manager and chief executive.
I never heard the outcome of my second interview and after a while, wrote requesting feedback several times and got nowhere.
Personnel seem to have changed since then so hopefully things have improved.
I applied online. I interviewed at Design Council in Jul 2018
Interview
I was invited to the first stage of the interview process with two days notice. Luckily I was able to reschedule this as I had to travel for two hours to get there (costing me £50).
The interview lasted for around an hour and I was asked a lot of competency based interview questions. When the interview had finished, they asked what my availability was like for the next stage and whether I had any other interviews lined up. They then said they would be in touch after interviewing a few more people that week.
Over four weeks later I still didn't hear anything. I tried phoning and emailing just to try and get an answer but had no luck. In my opinion this is very unprofessional and it would definitely put me off applying here again. My advice to future applicants is to be wary that you could never hear back from them and it would be a waste of travel expenses. If this is a representation of the overall business, then I don't think it would be a great place to work for. Don't bother applying.
