I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Detcon (The Woodlands, TX) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied for the position via LinkedIn. A recruiter from HR called me for the initial phone screen, which was about 15 minutes of talking about my resume and basic background, plus a general overview of the position. Next I had a 30-minute phone interview with someone from the CTO's office. He didn't have my resume or the recruiter's notes, so he ended up asking most of the same questions. This interview went into more details about my experience with specific technologies and tools. I felt that the interview went very well, and I was told that I would hear from them one way or the other within the next two weeks. They never contacted me again and didn't reply to my request for a status update. The interview process was above average, but I lose respect for companies when they leave their candidates hanging.
