I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DevRev (Nitte) in Mar 2024
Interview
There was online test, assignment round and interviews. Online test consisted of 5 questions. One was getting the data through API request any language. Calculation sum of 2 numbers without adding carry. Calculation of sum of 2 binary numbers. SQL query group by related question. SQL query to return ipv4 addresses present in the table. Solved 3 questions in these. Next was snap in assignment using devrev's api. The problem with the snap ins was the docs were not that readable or understandable. Created a snap in that creates issue and updates its priority. Later on technical interview he asked for my introduction, about internships, projects. He asked the snap in created its output and working demo. He asked to create ticket in the snap in. He asked a coding question like asteroid collision i explained brute force approach. Then time was up so I couldn't finish the coding question. The actual approach was to use stack. So later got an call that I was rejected from college placement department. Others got foreign interviewers who didn't ask any coding questions. I felt I was unlucky.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DevRev (Chennai) in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview process at DevRev was smooth and efficient, consisting of four rounds: two technical rounds, a cultural round, and a founder's round. Scheduling and communication were excellent, with results for each round provided within a week. Despite a hiccup in one of the technical rounds, DevRev's fairness was evident as they offered me a third technical round, in which I performed excellently. The cultural round was a heartwarming experience, where I learned about the company's values and work environment. The final round with the founder was insightful, offering a deep dive into DevRev's vision and product. Overall, the experience was positive and enriching, leaving me excited about the possibility of contributing to such an innovative company.
