I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dext in Aug 2019
Interview
The HR representative contacted me by email a few days after she received my resume and asked to connect for a phone interview. We had the phone interview covering my background, the role, and any questions her or I had. A day or so later I got another email from her advising the Director of Sales wanted to schedule a video interview with me. I completed my Zoom interview and apparently it went well enough to warrant another follow up email asking me to schedule a mock sales call with the Director of Sales. I researched the product, listened to multiple webinars, and legit did my homework for this call that in the words of the Director, “went decently well”. A few days passed by and I received an invite to come into the office and meet with with the Director of Sales and the team I would potentially be working with. I’m not sure if you’re keeping up here but this would be the 4th step in the interview process. I met with the hiring manager first and went into further detail of the position and the company. Next up I met with the 2 ADCs on the team where they asked questions to see how I worked, about myself, and all in all questions to help them decide if they would want to work with me. Once that was completed the hiring manager/director of sales came back in and we discussed start dates, salary expectations, and even stated that the HR rep would go over the incentive plan with me. He told me that I should hear back in the next few days, I left that 4th and final interview with what I believed to be a soft offer. A few days pass and I received an email reading, “We appreciate you taking the time to interview to learn more about the company and the Account Development Consultant role. At this time, we are unable to move forward with your candidacy, but please know that we enjoyed meeting with you and wish you the best in your continued job search.” While I was confused, I still sent and email back thanking them for their time and asked for feedback, I never received a response.
