We appreciate the time you have taken to write your review. Difrent does take all feedback as a constructive opportunity to learn and improve.
“their recruiter obviously had no idea what she was doing and ended up getting me in to interview for a role I clearly wasn't right for”
Prior to the interview, our recruiter had discussed this opportunity with you and you both felt there was a match on skills and interest hence you trekking across London.
“One of the women who was supposed to be interviewing me decided to 'work from home' that day so I ended up in a booth at a we work talking to her on Skype on a mobile.”
Most, if not all interviews are conducted on a face to face basis. It was unfortunate this particular interview involved some miscommunication. As a digital service, we do use technology to aid the interview process where one person may not be present.
“The interview was then disrupted half way through as the interview 'booth' (if you can even call it that) had been double booked,”
As a startup, we are located in a shared workspace - this is not always ideal, and a drop in planning by ourselves of which we apologise for any discomfort caused by having to move.
“I was told I'd get feedback within a few days and a final answer shortly after "because that's how we work here". Low and behold one month later and I didn't even hear back”
Providing feedback, especially where requested, is something we always strive to give. This has been fed back to the team who are looking at ways to ensure feedback does not fall through the gap.
We really do appreciate you taking the time to review. We’re a small startup, and truly value any and all feedback - how else are we going to improve! Wishing you all the best in your job search.
