I applied online. I interviewed at Dimmitt Automotive Group (Wesley Chapel, FL) in May 2018
Interview
Was called in by the receptionist to meet with management. I had the pleasure of sitting with a chap who was rather condescending sprinkled with misguided elitism.
The store does not sell much , and no real discussions or a plan for growth ? The plan? Just add more people.
The arrogance of the interviewer became bored with me after about 5 minutes. The eye rolling started. I excused myself and left chucking.
Apparently there is an assumption the hired sales people would not be able to do the simple math needed to conclude the inevitable, the math we speak of: amount of sales staff divided by amount of cars sold does not equal much more than minimum wage. Floor is flooded !
Note to owners?
Before you can pull off a belittling attitude know the internet is a wealth of information ..... candidates also come prepared.
Just saying....
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dimmitt Automotive Group (Clearwater, FL) in Jan 2016
Interview
Online application, telephone interview, interview (3) I must admit that this was a very odd process that culminated in a state of total confusion. I felt as though I wasted two weeks of my time and they made me come back 3 times. I didn't really feel very welcome by the woman in HR either....she was distracted, had notes all over the place, and couldn't really talk to me about compensation. It was like I was supposed to know that I was going to get paid for selling a car.
