I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dixa (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process for me was:
1. 30 min call with recruiter
2. 45 min online leadership / talent assessment
3. 60 min interview with manager
4. Case study - said to be for 2-3 hours long, we all know these realistically take about 15-20 hours to get to know the company problem and details correctly to propose a fitting solution
5. 60 min interview with manager & one person from C-suite
After the last interview, I was told there was going to be a âlast lastâ interview with the managerâs manager. For this interview, I was told I would find out about the details on a Wednesday to then have the interview on the following Thursday. The contract was discussed to be given on Friday and all finalised by Monday, before the holidays.
I never heard from anyone, even after several emails, calls and LinkedIn follow-ups, until Monday at 17.45.
To which I received an email stating the generic make-up of: we chose someone else, it was a difficult choice, thank you for your time and effort. The manager offered to give feedback if I wished, to which I replied that I would appreciate more information/feedback, and then I never heard back.
All in all, the ending felt disappointing and extractive of my ideas from having the case study be such a large part of the process. The case study was all we spoke about in the final #5 interview, and no other behavioural questions from my past experiences, as is common. Instead we spoke about the case and other possible problems on the marketing team (communication / content focused) that they have and wanted ideas on how to solve.
As for my feedback - take better care of your potential teammates in the hiring process. We are putting in a lot of time, energy, enthusiasm and care into taking part in these many rounds.
Taking 10 minutes to call and share the news that you have chosen someone else and given reasons as to why would have been much more considerate.
