      Strategic Partner Manager Interview

      24 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2019

      Interview

This was the most ridiculous interview experience I have had, and left a very bad taste in my mouth for the company as a whole. My recruiter was great and went out of her way to prepare me well, but everything else was a mess. There was a simple initial phone screen that led to a "2 hour" take home assessment. I produced over 5 pages of written work that took me almost 8 hours to complete. What a complete waste of time, as neither one of the two people I zoomed with a few days later even mentioned my work. The hiring manager was bland, boring, and uninterested, even though I was clearly competent and skilled enough to handle the role. One of the people I interviewed with even left the call midway through and had to switch rooms. I work in tech in SF - I know how simple it is to book a conference room for an hour call, so clearly there are issues on their end. Overall I am very unimpressed with this company and their disrespect and lack of caring for their candidates time. This interview was a complete waste of time and energy. Even if I received an offer, I likely would not have accepted due to the lack of human decency.
